We ship our plants with the utmost care and pack them extremely careful. We only ship plant-related orders on Tuesday to avoid any delays. You will receive an email with a confirmation after you placed your order. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive your tracking code.
We do not ship plant-related orders when the temperature is below 0 degrees or above 27 degrees in The Netherlands, to avoid any temperature damage. We add a heat-pack with plant-related orders if the temperature is between 0 and 5 degrees. We always check the weather in both The Netherlands and the country it needs to be shipped to, but if you have a specific wish about your order - please always send us an email. We do NOT ship plants below 0 degrees.
We only ship to the European Union. If you want to add a plant passport, please let us know by email or with your order.
Shipping is a very stressful process for plants and we recommend to let your plant rest for at least a week after arrival. The plant needs to adjust to its new environment and immediate repotting is therefore not recommended. Please make sure to research how to care for your plant before purchasing. Every plant has different needs! If you need help or have a question, please contact us.
Non-plant orders (such as sphagnum moss or fertiliser) will be shipped on the same day as your order or the next day.
We work very hard to make sure that our plants will arrive in a healthy state. We therefore guarantee our plants for 7 days after arrival if handled in a proper way. Unfortunately, we can not take responsibility for any damage to plants caused by shipping or delays. We do not (partially) refund for any damage caused by (delays during) shipping. Please contact us, so we can help you to give you the best care tips for your situation.
During check-out, you can choose delivery through DHL, PostNL or UPS. Please check the possible shipping options and shipping rate for your country at the check-out.
- PostNL and DHL Parcel will provide delivery within 1 - 10 business days.
- DHL Express will provide delivery within 1 - 2 business days.
- UPS Express Saver will provide delivery within 1 - 2 business days.
Please note that we are not responsible for delays in shipment. We advise you to only choose PostNL or DHL parcel for non-plant related purchases only or delivery within The Netherlands.
If you want to pick-up your order, you can choose this option during check-out. We will email you to arrange a pick up date. If you want to pick up your order at Het Plantenpandje, it will be possible on Tuesdays from 9 AM to 1 PM (always send a message first!) or during our next open house (check out the next date here). It would also be possible to pick up your order in either De Meern or Wittevrouwen (Utrecht).
